Due to the ongoing impact of COVID19, the next STELLA Unconference will take place virtually, as a one-day event on Friday, October 9, 2020. Sessions are planned from 8am (PDT)/11am (EDT) until 3pm(PDT)/6pm(EDT), though timing may still change slightly. Registered attendees will be able to suggest topics for discussion and submit lightning talks as we get closer to the date.
This free event welcomes current or aspiring science, technology, engineering and medical/health librarians and those interested in STEM librarianship. In the unconference spirit, YOU will drive the agenda and determine what discussions and breakouts will take place. It’s a great chance to discuss and learn about current topics relevant to STEM librarianship.
Registration is once again OPEN for STELLA Unconference 2020! Sign up at bit.ly/STELLA2020Virtual. Registration is capped at 200 participants. Thanks to our generous sponsors, there is no registration fee. As in the past, we will have a waitlist to attend once we have reached capacity.
So we continue to work out the details, we will certainly keep you informed and please check our website, https://stellaunconference.com/ for updates. If you have any questions or comments, please email stellaunconference@gmail.com.
We hope you and your community are well during this unprecedented worldwide event.
Sincerely,
The STELLA 2020 Planning Committee
