James B. Hunt Jr. Library Tour @ NCSU
The James B. Hunt Jr. Library, which opened in January 2013 on NC State’s Centennial Campus, creates a place to support both student success and cutting-edge research. This 1 hour tour of the Hunt library will include the different commons spaces available to students and faculty, collaborative areas, high technology spaces, and the bookBot.

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill CANCELLED
In 2014 the UNC Libraries launched their Research Hub initiative. Opening locations included the Research Hub in Davis Library, focusing on data visualization and mapping, and the Kenan Science Library Research Hub and Makerspace with an emphasis on supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, and making. The UNC Libraries tour will include the Davis Library Research Hub, the Wilson Library Special Collections, the Kenan Science Library Research Hub and the new BeAM (Be a Maker) space in Murray Hall. The tour will start in the Davis Library lobby and last approximately an hour and a half.

Duke University Libraries Tour CANCELLED
The tour of libraries at Duke University will include the Perkins-Bostock-Rubenstein Library complex. The Perkins project to build Bostock and to renovate Perkins and Rubenstein Libraries was completed in 2015 after over a decade of work. The one-hour tour will include shared space with campus IT (the Link, Multimedia Project Studio), project-based and data-intensive space (The Edge) and several exhibit and event spaces.
